The most demanding auto repairers and installers increasingly require EOBD diagnostics that not only display but also store and analyze data from the engine control unit. CODE ENGINEERING has developed an exclusive module called “POWERSCAN.” The software is divided into four subsections: the first handles standard EOBD diagnostics; the second is a true road-based inertial power testing bench; the third module analyzes the operation of major sensors during a full-load test; and the fourth software module of Powerscan allows for all measurements of vehicle response times and acceleration. All resulting graphs are based on both time and engine RPM.

All software modules acquire data using EOBD communication protocols ISO9141-2, ISO14230-4, ISO15765-4 EOBD-CAN, compatible with all vehicles registered from 2000 to the present.
